- Fan mad about Archie engaging Veronica sells comic (AP): I’m an Archie/Bettie pairing fan. I haven’t read Archie in forever though, should I see what happens or wait for it to happen on wiki. Tough decisions!
- Team Aims To Create Pure Evil AI: We’ve invented a meat eating robot and now we’re making an AI of pure evil. Our robot overlords are being birthed in front of our eyes! I’d say prepare to bow before them but I suspect they’ll be eating us.
- Images of Next-Generation iPod Touch Surface?: This should probably be one of the worst kept secrets in current tech news.
- Rock Band DLC: Blind Melon, Blur, more Foo Fighters: I’m getting All My Life, No Rain, and Inside Out.
- A Long Time Ago In A Restaurant Far, Far Away: Lightsaber Chopsticks: Hilariously, this does seem like an obvious idea. Also hilarious, is the picture of them being held in the hand.
- Twitter Is Revamping Retweets, Launches A Retweet API: Doing a RT also adds to the character limit and can wreck some tweets, so this will be a cool change.
- World of Warcraft PTR Patch 3.2.2:
- Rumor: Full setlist for The Beatles: Rock Band confirmed: Great setlist, my only complaint is no Blackbird but then again that song would be HORRIBLY BORING for some instruments.

- Blizzard jump into Twitter with a bang: Very cool, now I won’t feel like I’m sacrificing info on one product while I check out another.
- Re: How does Archon look now?: With all this time on their hands waiting on beta to start I wouldn’t be surprised if the art team has time to redo all units! I could be called Starcraft 3 by the time beta rolls out.
- Digsby Joins the Dark Side, Uses Your PC to Make Money [Rants]: I’ve not had problems and I was going to talk about how I love the newest build of Digsby. I installed long before the installer asked for 6 apps though and then just used the manual update feature.
All of this does seem suspect though and I’m still going to use Digsby until it becomes a problem (aka high CPU during Starcraft 2 sessions).
- US Pays More For Cellphone Service, Carriers Insist That We Are Not Getting Screwed [Cellphones]: I hate you mobile phone companies.
- Congratulations WoWathon!: Very noble cause
- Apple Keynote Event Scheduled for Early September?: I would hope it’s for the 3rd gen iPod Touch announcement.
- Les Paul – Guitar legend and inventor responsible for the electric guitar and multi-track recording – has died at age 94.:

- Patch 3.2.2: Onyxia Revamped:
- Shack PSA: Trine Marked Down to $22 on Steam: Loved the demo, I should pick it up and you should too!

Friendfeed
Author: TimothyAug 12
Man I didn’t realize how great Friendfeed is. Again one of those things I hear people talking about but haven’t setup myself. It’s basically what my site does, it aggregates all the stuff you are setup for and then puts it into one tidy page so you can do a fast reference of what you’ve been up to. As said below my feed is located at: www.friendfeed.com/timothyhanson and it pulls together all my social networking stuff (except Facebook) in one nice feed.
I’m not sure how Facebook’s acquisition of the site will affect it since there’s already a Friendfeed app for Facebook (that gets kinda spammy and not sure if it affects the home updates) but it will be interesting I guess. I’m toying around with how it interacts on this site and I think I can jam updates into the main article section. If you have subscriptions or accounts with any of the links on the top right, I’d suggest also signing up for Friendfeed to pull it all together.
