The nostalgia I feel about the first game is intense. I remember dying countless times through the long pirate corridor in Phenandra drifts before getting the super bomb. Man it seemed so hard back then. Of course I was short on missiles and energy tanks which I should have had by then, but man, nothing makes a game more epic than the very real risk of dying. Repeatedly dying, and yet knowing that you screwed up in so many places and if you could play it perfect you could get it. Getting wailed on by pirates only to arrive at the untargettable(can’t lock on) robotic drone protecting the super bomb was oh so frustrating because I usually would have less than 50 energy.
I will probably skip this version though as I prefer the old Gamecube controller to the Wiimote which feels like it is a step backward, not to mention I already own all 3 games already. Highly recommended for those who haven’t played through them. The original will always be my favorite, although the Multiplayer in MP2 was pretty sweet, and Corruption was the only one that felt truly epic in size, but the first one will always have a place in my heart.

Metroid Prime is an amazing Series.

I own 1 and 2 but never finished 2. So getting it would be more for 3 and I might as well get this as opposed to just 3 I imagine.
