Starcraft II insights:
“…when [someone says] ‘the Siege Tank, what was it in SC1?’ and the answer is ‘who cares’. It doesn’t even matter things have changed so much.”
This statement kills me. What people are really trying to tell him is that the siege tank in the game currently SUCKS, not that it is different. Why even bother to leave the unit in the game? Certainly not homage to the unit now that it is gimped, what a sad way to end a legacy. The siege tank was the defining Terran unit. Terran may not need it anymore. Fine. But don’t leave it in the game as a gimp unit that has no purpose. So frustrating.

Yeah it was very weird to read that one, it basically says the tank has no place except as weak fan service. Other statements I’ve read relating to the tank is that the protoss simply have too strong a counter to tanks where mech vs toss was the usual affair in SC1. With warp in immortals it’s to easy to see tanks coming and then have that kind immediate counter to them. It sounded like they’ll move immortals to the null circuit and then tanks would probably have a correct placement again.
